Republic Day 2025: Annual Function “Gullak” at Nirmala Auditorium
Jaipur, January 26, 2025 – Rawat Public School, Pratap Nagar, Jaipur, celebrated Republic Day 2025 with its grand annual function, “Gullak,” at Nirmala Auditorium. The event brought together over 500 students and more than 2,000 parents and guests, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere.
The program began with a lamp-lighting ceremony led by Chairman Shri B.S. Rawat and Mrs. Nirmala Rawat, followed by a warm welcome from Director Shri Narendra Singh Rawat and Principal Mrs. Maitreyi Shukla. The chief guest for the occasion was IPS Officer Pankaj Chaudhary, whose presence added prestige to the celebration.
Students showcased a range of cultural performances, including:
A thematic song and welcome dance
Representations of various Indian states’ cultures
Depictions of natural elements like Earth, Water, Air, and Sky
A special yoga performance that captivated the audience
These performances highlighted the students’ talent, creativity, and deep respect for India’s diverse cultural heritage.
The event recognized the achievements of meritorious students, who were awarded “Rawat Gaurav” and “Rawat Pratibha” for their outstanding performance in board examinations. Additionally, the school unveiled its newsletter, “Rawat Times,” and acknowledged the dedicated members of the Akshendra Welfare Society for their contributions to the community.
In his address, Director Shri Narendra Singh Rawat emphasized the school’s commitment to innovative and value-based education, encouraging students to strive for excellence while upholding strong moral values.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Academic Head A.K. Gupta, expressing gratitude to all participants, guests, and organizers for making the annual function a memorable and successful event.
